Why is the universe bio-friendly? Bioastronomy, once an intriguing and speculative sideline, has become a major focus for cosmologists. James N. Gardner presents a startling hypothesis for how our apparently bio-friendly universe began and what its ultimate destiny will be. Internationally recognized healer, Eric Pearl, has appeared on The Other Side with John Edward, The Leeza Show, Sally Jessy Raphael, Art Bell, America's health Network, FOX TV with Drs. Andrew Weil and Dean Ornish, and numerous news programs across the country. As a doctor, Eric Pearl ran a highly successful chiropractic practice for 12 years until one day in 1993 when patients began reporting that they felt Eric's hands on them- even though he hadn't physically touched them. For the first couple of months, his palms blistered and bled. Patients soon began seeing angels and reporting miraculous healings from cancers, AIDS-related diseases, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, birth disfigurements, cerebral palsy, and other serious afflictions. All this occurred when Eric simply held his hands near them. And to this day, it continues.

Her teaching certifications include Soaring Crane, Jade Body and Turtle Longevity Qi Gong. Katharina discovered the BodyTalk System in 1998. She was deeply impressed with Dr.John Veltheim and intuitively understood the significance of the BodyTalk System at once. She was instrumental in bringing BodyTalk to the West Coast, and in 2001 Katharina became a Certified BodyTalk Instructor.

In her new book, "Soulfire: The Birth of Wild Aliveness", the time of self-help is over. The time of self-truth is here. According to Secard, self-truth is about power and decisions based on an exchange with your own soul. Once a person realizes that one's self does not need help, improvement or fixing and that it needs only the truth, then they are able live confidently and with "wild aliveness." Brigitte Secard's experience and exuberance make her a relevant voice for many topics.

Zoe Ann Nicholson   

Zoe Ann Nicholson, founder of Lune Soleil Press, holds a B.A. in Theology, Quincy University, 1969 and a M.A. in Religion, USC, 1975. She has led a very diverse life, from teaching high school, building and operating a bookstore, to working in high tech. Her dedication to the advancement of women began with fasting for 37 days in Springfield, Illinois, demonstrating for the Equal Rights Amendment in 1982 and continues to the current day. Beginning his musical career in the mod and folk days of mid-1960s London, Parrott ran with the movers and shakers of the time - Donovan, Dylan, and the others - and was on the verge of commercial success in the British rock machine of the time, when strange things began to happen. Drugs, sex, rock 'n' roll, sure, but then ... a simple twist of fate relegated his Open Up album (a major studio production with the best session musicians of the day, not to mention the London Symphony Orchestra) to a vault for almost a quarter of a century. But he played the dice as they rolled and wound up in Virginia Beach, New World. Turning negatives into positives has always been Derek's way, beginning with the inspiration that dictated Derek's first song on a beach in Morocco, the same inspiration that writes his stuff (kind of "through him," actually) to this day. Which helps to explain the constancy and polar accuracy of his muse. There is always hope here ("I'll answer your prayer"), always the road ("the journey we must make"), always love ("the way is to love each other"), and always the ancient companion ("And in the end when all's said and done, then I'll join you and we will be one").

Initially trained as a visual artist and as a jazz musician, Dave Stringer started chanting when a film editing project brought him to the ashram of Swami Muktananda in India. He developed as a kirtan singer under the guidance of Swami Chidvilasananda. Punctuating the traditional mantras with flights of improvisation, he chants with luminous intensity and a freedom that is contagious. Spontaneous and articulate, he speaks with a simplicity and wit honed by years of teaching meditation to prison inmates. Dave has led Kirtan in the presence of many teachers, including Shri K. Pattabhi Jois, Ma Jaya Satabhagavati, Baba Hari Das and Yogi Bhajan. He has performed with Krishna Das and Jai Uttal, and collaborated on recordings with Axiom of Choice, Vas, Rasa, Suzanne Teng, Sheila Nicholls, Donna De Lory, Lionel Cole, and the Open Door Orchestra.
