It’s said that at the end of our lives we are very unlikely to think, “I sure wish I spent more time in the office.” We can learn much about what’s important to us by considering what we would regret at the end of our days. This week we’ll explore our own life desires by sharing the stories, trials and joys of those who reached the end of life. With me is Stan Goldberg and his latest book, is Lessons for the Living: Stories of Forgiveness, Gratitude, and Courage at the End of Life.
This is really a beautiful and moving book and I’m sure you’ll enjoy Stan sharing it with us.
Stan Goldberg is a Professor Emeritus of Communicative Disorders at San Francisco State University. For over 25 years he taught, provided therapy, researched, published and consulted in the area of learning problems and sudden traumatic life change. He has been a bedside hospice volunteer for seven years and writes lovingly of his experiences in this new book.
Stan has published six books, written numerous articles and delivered over 100 lectures and workshops throughout the United States, Latin America and Asia.
You can learn more about him and read his blog at http://stangoldbergwriter.com (http://http://stangoldbergwriter.com)
