Animals gift us with the ability to look within ourselves, to view where we are on our journey and to provide us with tools for our development. They can do this simply by existing and we can glean our knowledge by paying attention. Every one crosses our path for a reason and animals are no exception.
Actually, in so many ways they can provide us with more truth about where we are as an individual and what needs to be exercised as we look into ourselves than any other person may.

As you walk through your life take the time to notice if a bird perches on your window sill, if a hummingbird zips by you, if a dog comes into your life or an eagle catches your eye as a thought takes hold in your mind .... notice each animal, for they are telling you a story. Each species of animal
has traits typically and relatively unique to that species. Within that species a particular animal will also display personality traits unique to that individual. The insight lies within the ability to take note of both these aspects.

I love what you have said about our connection with Nature's creatures. I have had many insightful moments when seeing or coming across various animals. I recently created a painting that I titled 'Messages of the Hawk', for that very reason. The hawk is said to come into our lives to remind us to rise above the circumstances in our lives, and see the broader view. Also telling us it's time to manifest silent strength, be observant, gain insight, and follow the path of truth. I personally found this to be true for me and the insight you can gain from researching what each animal is here to share or tells us is fascinating, and is an added aid in helping us to evolve on our own individual spiritual paths.
