"Being on Catherine's radio program, The Wellness Roadshow, was a fabulous experience. She immediately put me at ease with her friendly and insightful manner. Without "scripted" questions our conversation was authentic and organic in its flow and presentation. I had several people tell me, after listening to the program, how powerful and inspirational they found it. We need more radio programs like this -- and more hosts like Catherine willing to open up a natural dialogue about important and relatable topics that make people feel uplifted."
— Melissa Wadsworth, Seattle www.melissawadsworth.com
My interview with Catherine Bradford exceeded my expectations in every way. She was well informed about my body of work, her questions allowed me to explore and share many of my spiritual beliefs, and she listened, carefully, to what I said. I have done hundreds of interviews over the last 2 decades and have grown to expect far less than what I experienced with Catherine. I would make myself available in a heartbeat to do another one with Catherine. Her willingness to open the door to a broader public for authors like myself is priceless.

The Wellness Roadshow presents:
"Revealing your Life Purpose"
Host Catherine Bradford welcomes author and life coach Dr. Brad Swift, founder of the Life on Purpose Institute. After a brief review of Dr. Swifts amazing book, "Life on Purpose: Six Passages to an Inspired Life", Catherine and Dr. Swift will welcome several guests who will participate in a live coaching exercise with Dr. Swift. Dr. Swift will be gently guiding them through a portion of the Life On Purpose Process so they can experience what it’s like to be coached through the Process while also trying out a new perspective about life purpose that has opened a new world of purpose and possibility for many people. During this sample of the LOP Process we’ll explore a foundational distinction between the cultural perspective of what a life purpose is and the Life On Purpose Perspective.
You can follow along while listening, and see how powerful this process can be for helping you reveal your own life purpose.

The Wellness Roadshow presents: "The Chase for Beauty" with author Robert Mendelson.
In 1989, Dr. Dennis Hurwitz, reknowned plastic surgeon, was confronted with unimaginable ugliness when he stepped out his backdoor and into what is every loving parent's most horrific nightmare, finding his teenage daughter and only child was brutally murdered. As if this wasn't struggle enough, a decade later, his career was in serious jeopardy after he lost a $3.55 million malpractice case.
This inspiring story of Dr. Hurwitz's strength, courage and ability to rebuild his life, as well as continuing his chase for beauty in both his professional and personal life, truly shows us that it is possible to never give up in a world that can be so ugly.
Author Robert Mendelson, an award winning author, journalist and editor, became fascinated by this real life drama as he watched the story unfold oon the front page of the newspaper. He resigned as an award winning editor-in-chief for the University of Pittsburgh's Pitt Magazine to chronicle Dr. Hurwitz's story, presented in, "The Chase for Beauty"

With so much at stake in our quests to find strong and healthy relationships, this topic is one that is not only important, but relative to us all. Today Dr. "K" and I will take a deeper look into just what we can do to avoid loosing ourselves to the PDI.

Wellness Roadshow presents "Spot of Grace" with author Dawna Markova
What, exactly, is a spot of grace? According to bestselling author and revolutionary, Dawn Markova, "It is like a tiny shard of light, a luminosity that results from bringing the gift that only you can bring to the rest of the human community. This gift of the soul is what literally lights us up and gives our lives meaning. When we root into this place, we know how we matter, and even more, we know how the world matters to us."

The Wellness Roadshow welcomes back Dr. John James, author of 'The Great Field'
as we discuss "The Nature of the Soul"
Our discoveries on the nature of the human soul are tantalising and somewhat unconventional. Religious wisdom has altered our meaning of soul to suit their own agendas – but therapy shows precisely how it is. Find the answers to questions like:
"Is the Great Field as God a him or a her?"
"How will this understanding of soul alter the way in which the major religions pray and hope?"
"If soul has no feelings, but just awareness, isn't this the ultimate in sartori or nirvana?"
"If the heart is more powerful than the brain, how come society came to prefer thinking over feeling."
Come join host Catherine Bradford with returning guest Dr. John James for what will no doubt be a provocative and inspiring conversation.

Wellness Roadshow presents: “Living Deeply: The Art and Science of Transformation in Everday Life”
Written by Marilyn Mandala Schlitz, Ph.D., Cassandra Vieten, Ph.D., and Tina Amorok, Psy.D., “Living Deeply” draws from 30 years of research from the Institute of Noetic Science on human consciousness. The authors premise is simple: your behavior, attitudes, and ways of being in the world are changed in life affirming and lasting ways only when your consciousness transforms, and you commit to living deeply into that transformation. In their book they show how science and spirituality are interconnected; providing a framework for creating your own journey as well as showing how your transformation links to a larger wave of collective and global consciousness.

Wellness Roadshow welcomes Sara Maria
"Break Free Beauty" Love your body, all of it!
We're not thin enough, so we starve ourselves. We're not toned enough, so we exercise to exhaustion. We're not healthy enough, so we avoid all pleasurable food in favor of alfalfa sprouts. And we're not beautiful enough, so we keep ourselves apart from others and the love they might offer. In a culture that worships thin, young, fit, and perfect, few of us can measure up. And our obsession with what we are not has extinguished the joy and vibrancy of who we are. "There is a way out," says Sarah Maria Dreisbach of Break Free Beauty. "It is possible to love and respect your body, to be at peace with your natural urges, and not live in constant fear of gaining weight or growing old. I know the path to befriending the body is not easy. It is painful and difficult, and at times you may feel it is hopeless. But I assure you that it is possible."
Come join Host Catherine Bradford as she and Sara Maria tackle the tough topic of body image.

"The Little Book of Wholeness and Prayer" with author Kimberly Beyer-Nelson
Kimberly Beyer-Nelson is an experienced yoga teacher and practitioner. Her writing has appeared in the Journal of the Fellowship for Prayer and Ascent. She holds a master's degree in comparative religion and a certificate in holistic health from Western Michigan University. This self-guided program introduces the rich tradition of daily prayer practice. Six exercises for each week (forty-eight in all) invite readers to actively participate in a daily "dance between one's self and God" by using the senses, memory, emotion, and imagination in combination with the discipline of intentional daily routine. Beyer-Nelson offers the history of this tradition and introduces readers to a number of prayer forms (contemplation, verbal prayer, and centering prayer). In addition to a host of practical suggestions on choosing the right physical space, the use of music, journaling, eating habits, and exercise, this eloquent resource explores the practice of daily prayer as a vehicle for meaningful and lasting personal and spiritual development.

"It's Up to You: A Practice to Change Your Life by Changing Your Mind", with author Karen Casey
Seven morning and evening practices to revolutionize your life.
This small book will change everything if you let it. It's Up to You is based on the twelve principles in Casey's Change Your Mind and Your Life Will Follow: tending to our own gardens, focusing on solutions not problems, letting go of preconceived solutions, changing our minds, acting instead of reacting, giving up judgments, giving up trying to control, discovering our own lessons, doing no harm, quieting our minds, treating every encounter as the holy, and discerning our mind's own truth.
It's Up to You invites readers to do three simple things: meditate, pay attention, and make choices to change their lives--for a few minutes each morning and evening, one principle a week for twelve weeks. As we reflect on Casey's insight into the insidious ways we create misery or drama, try to impose will, and suffer needlessly, and as we follow her gentle prompts to make different choices, we begin to see that we can change just about anything in our lives by taking these small steps. Nothing could be simpler, and nothing could be more effective. Or as Karen Casey puts it, "Progress is guaranteed. Perfection isn't expected."
* Karen Casey's message is simple--show up, pay attention, and your world will change.

"The Great Field" with author John James, PhD.
Therapist John James, PhD, draws on nearly twenty years of therapeutic practice to present elegant and sometimes startling conclusions about the nature of the universe and its implications for the human experience. Drawing on the established scientific wisdom of biology and astronomy, he shows that everything that exists has been created out of and within the vast domains of energy that form the Great Field, and that soul-that energetic part of us that connects with the universe-is as powerful a creative factor as DNA in our physical and psychic development.
Because his findings are based upon an innovative combination of scientific evidence, diverse cultural and spiritual wisdom, and therapeutic case histories, James' conclusions provide a stimulating and original theory of how the Great Field is the foundation of everything in the universe-including the personal energy we call soul.

"Backdoor to Enlightenment" with Za Rinpoche
ZA RINPOCHE is a Tibetan monk who first came to the world's attention when his life story was chronicled in the first chapter of Po Bronson's megabestseller, What Should I Do with My Life? While growing up in a refugee camp in Southern India, he was recognized by the Dalai Lama as the sixth reincarnation of the Za Choeje Rinpoche. He is the founder of the Emaho Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Scottsdale, Arizona, dedicated to sharing Tibetan culture with the West, supporting humanitarian projects, and assisting with personal spiritual development. Za Rinpoche teaches throughout the world, while maintaining his obligations as the spiritual leader to many monks.
Everyone dreams of a better life. All the things you've ever wanted - happiness, loving relationships, well-being, abundance, and peace of mind - are all qualities of enlightenment, a way of embracing our fullest potential that seemed unavailable to us, until now. For thousands of years, the secret to enlightenment has remained hidden in the distant reaches of the Himalayas, deep in wisdom impenetrable to all but the most dedicated seekers. For the first time in history, The Backdoor to Enlightenment burns the rules and barriers that have hindered our understanding and reveals the keys to immediate, profound realization to the rest of the world. Blending centuries-old texts with contemporary wisdom, readers of any faith can bypass the traps and limitations of modern life and achieve lasting peace every day. More than just a heartfelt story of mystery and discovery, this revolutionary work stands out as a smart, clear guide, showing step-by-step how you can use these astonishing truths to transform every aspect of your life. There might not be a shortcut to your dreams, but there is a Backdoor!
