Mars: Finding Passion Within the Chart

According to astrologer Patty Kamson, people seem to be a little lost at this time and being able to reconnect with their natural passion can be an awakening that brings that spark back into their lives.
According to astrologer Brenda Black, there are four placements of Lilith in the astrological chart, and they represent the darker side of our nature. They are: Asteroid Lilith (located between Mars and Jupiter); Dark Moon Lilith (discovered by Dr. Waldemuth and which is placed a little farther out than our Moon and rarely appears in the sky); Black Moon Lilith (which is not a physical object but rather one of two focal points created from the Moon elliptical orbit around the earth); and Algol, which is known in the ancient cultures as a demon star.
All four liliths describe the hidden depths of our personality – characteristics that we display to few people. Ina woman, Lilith describes our Animus, and in a Man Lilith describes his Anima. Lilith is like a strongly damaged Venus in our chart, but by incorporating Lilith in the study of our chart we can heal our deep, dark issues. Lilith is strong in the charts of mediums, astrologers and psychics as well as in the chart of a dominatrix and her client. The healed Lilith woman is complete in herself, and she does not need a man to survive in the world; but she enjoys the company of men.

The Importance of the Progressed Moon
Secondary Progressions is a form of predictive astrology where one advances the natal chart forward in time using “one day for one year” symbolism. It is used in conjunction with transits, as well as other predictive methods, and it requires significant study and practice in order to use this discipline effectively.
Tonight I am going to introduce you (or at least some of you) to the importance of progressions by taking a look at the Progressed Moon. Whereas the natal Moon describes our lifelong emotional needs, the progressed moon describes our needs during specific 2.5 year periods in our lives.

The Tenth House & Your Career
The tenth house is the most “public” house in the horoscope wheel, and in addition to ruling our reputation and personal status, it represents our career and vocational calling (which are not necessarily the same).
During this program, I will describe how the sign on its cusp, the location of its ruler, any planets in the house, and/or aspects to the house's ruler or planetary inhabitants influences the type of career/vocation that attracts us, the fields we find ourselves working in, and the circumstances we experience at work (e.g., do we change careers often?)
The potential effects of the transits from Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to the Tenth House will also be discussed as it relates to our career.

FIXED STARS OF THE SEASON - TWO HOUR SHOW

Embedded in your chart is the entire night sky. Look up. What do you see? Stars and Constellations. The Stars that make up each constellation are Suns in other Solar Systems. These Suns, in astrology, are known as Fixed Stars. In ancient times, the Fixed Stars were revered for the power they activated in each person's life. A fixed star might indicate difficulties, talents, success, afflictions, and more. Today there are very few astrologers who know much about Fixed Stars. Yet they still play a major role in your life and can account for why a person: persists in difficult situations, is always successful despite a seeming lack of talent, falls from a very successful position, may break all records for speed, has a passion that is unquenchable, and so many other fascinating qualities, talents, trials, and attitudes.

In addition to our health and daily routine, the Sixth House represents our job, which is not necessarily the same as our career or calling. During this program, I am going to describe how the sign on its cusp, the location of its ruler, any planets in the house, and/or aspects to the house's ruler or planetary inhabitants influences the type of employment we are drawn to (e.g., employee, self-employed), the fields we find ourselves working in, and the circumstances we experience at work (e.g., do we change jobs often?) The potential effects of transits from Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto to the Sixth House will also be discussed.

From Romance to Commitment Part Two: Your Seventh House
Today’s program is the second in an ongoing monthly series focusing solely on romantic relationships. Last month I discussed the 5th house, which rules the early stages of romance when we’re just dating and so infatuated and full of hope. The days we one day look back upon and say: Wow, it was so much fun back then!
This month, I’m going to discuss the 7th house, which describes how we behave when our partners have moved beyond being “Mr. or Ms. Right Now” in our lives and have earned our serious commitment.
The 7th house, including any planets in it, describes your attitude and experience in connection with marriage and partnerships, and it also reveals the type of partner you find attractive. Aspects to the seventh house cusp and the planet that rules it, as well as aspects to planets or sensitive points that may be in this house, also contribute to how you approach, handle, and experience committed partnerships.

Shifting Patterns in the Chart: From the Practical to the Far Out

Gabriel Gomes was born near the water’s edge in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil next to a Vincent Black Shadow motorcycle, upon which his mother was a passenger and his father its driver up until the time her water broke and he proceeded to emerge.
