Principal Chief of the Osage Nation
James Roan Gray is the Principal Chief of the Osage Nation, after his election to his second term; he led his Nation through some of the most dramatic changes throughout their sprawling 1.5 million acre Reservation and also in the history of the Osage. He is the youngest Chief elected in the history of the Osage Nation. Today he considered one of the leading voices in Native America.
He served as both Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Inter-Tribal Monitoring Association (ITMA) deliberating on the Federal Government’s mismanagement of Native American trust funds and currently serves as a board member. He serves as Chairman of the Executive Board of the Council of Energy Resource Tribe (CERT), serves as Co-Chair of the Tribal Budget Advisory Council, which sets the priorities for the Bureau of Indian Affair’s $2.3 billion budget. Chief Gray has accepted appointments to the Office of the Special Trustee Board of Advisors, Bureau of Indian Affairs, the Native American Rights Foundation, Intertribal Economic Alliance and recently appointed as Chairman, Tribal Energy Policy Advisory Committee.
Recently became one of the founding Board members of The Indian Country Renewable Energy Consortium, an organization consisting of tribal governments and tribal corporations and Alaska Native Corporations dedicated to increasing the opportunities for meaningful tribal participation in the new green renewable energy economy. Chief Gray was also elected as the first-ever Chairman of the Board for this new organization.
Chief Gray is also a distinguished journalist receiving his degree in Marketing at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. Prior to his first term as Principal Chief, he was co-publisher of the largest independently owned Indian Newspaper in America, “the Native American Times.”
Chief Gray’s work has been recognized over the years by many organizations. Receiving the Honoring Nations Awards Program of Harvard University presented Chief Gray on behalf of the Osage Nation with the award of High Honors in 2008, the American Indian Tribal Leadership Award at REZ 2008.and he was recently awarded the National Indian Gaming Association’s Chairman’s Leadership Award 2009, to name just a few.

National Native American Gang Specialist
Captain Christopher M. Grant (ret) is the former Chief of Detectives of the Rapid City (SD) Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division and the former commander of the Rapid City Area Gang Task Force. He retired from active law enforcement in 2004 after serving his community for 27 years. Mr. Grant is a graduate of the University of South Dakota (USD) with a Master's Degree in Political Science and is an adjunct criminal justice instructor for USD. He is also a graduate of the 181st session of the FBI National Academy.
Mr. Grant is a nationally recognized authority on Native American street gang and prison gang trends. He has worked with law enforcement, educators and community leaders in over 50 tribal communities, providing gang assessments and training programs to assist in recognizing, understanding and addressing gang activity in Indian Country. Mr. Grant also frequently speaks at regional and national law enforcement conferences and seminars regarding the Indian Country gang issue.
Mr. Grant currently provides consulting and training services for the National Drug Intelligence Center (NDIC), the Office of Juvenile Justice Delinquency and Prevention (OJJDP), the Federal Bureau of Investigation Indian Country Unit (FBI), the Multi-Jurisdictional Counter-Drug Task Force Training Program (MCTFT) through St. Petersburg College in Florida and The Falmouth Institute. Mr. Grant is also a national gang specialist for the U.S. Department of Justice Gang Resistance Education and Training Program (G.R.E.A.T.)
Mr. Grant maintains his law enforcement certification as a Reserve Special Agent for the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation

Jane Goble Clark has lived in or traveled to ten different countries spanning four continents. Her nomadic upbringing as an “Embassy brat” provided insight and skills in cultural competency, relationship building and mediation that created the foundation for her career in community-building.
Ms. Goble-Clark is the Director of the American Indian Institute at the University of Oklahoma. She holds a B.A. in Letters and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, is a state and internationally certified Prevention Specialist, and is currently working towards certification as a mediator through the Oklahoma Bar Association Early Settlement Center.

Clark sits on the board of the Tulsa Interfaith Alliance, Tulsa Powwow Club and numerous other organizations. He also serves as chaplain for various organizations.
Clark is Wichita, Caddo and Cheyenne and is a member of the Native American Church.

As well as being an accomplished actor who has appeared in over 20 movies, Brian is part of a Grammy-nominated drum group, “Young Bird.”
