As a continued seeker of knowledge and truth, I am currently updating data about the order of the horoscope signs.  That is to say that every one born up to 1990 were born in the Pisces Age.  Unfortunately, however, astrology signs and books are written as if we are still in the Aries Age.   For example, many Aries are really Pisces and many Libras are Virgos.  This is one of the reasons why some people declare that astrology is invalid.  Astrologers of all people have failed to keep up with the true positions of the planets.  It is easier to keep teaching something that is already accepted. Today, my experiences in conjunction with my intuitive and astrological skills are helping bring insight and clarity to others.  I continue to learn more as I expand my consciousness.  Many teachers have helped me along the way but LIFE still remains to be my greatest teacher.

About Richard Lee Vaughn

My name is Richard Lee Vaughn. I am a professional astrologer.  I have been studying and practicing astrology for over thirty years.  I reside in Atlanta, Georgia where I serve a diverse clientele.  I have worked as an astrologer for the Inner Space and Synchronicity metaphysical stores, Atlanta. 
 
My experiences include being interviewed by the Atlanta Journal/Constitution, guest appearances on WRFG 89.3 FM the Conscious Zone, a NBC studios televised show, and Public Broadcasting System. 
 
I have written monthly horoscope columns for the Atlanta Magazine, the Oracle Magazine and the Decatur neighborhood newspaper.  Currently I am writing a daily Hip Hop Horoscope for an e-zine called the Galactic Express and a daily Real Time Astrology e-mail for my clients.  Additionally, I do private parties, lectures, teach astrology classes, and facilitate a monthly Real Time Astrology Meet Up Group for astrology buffs. Due to public demand I am proud to have written a book entitled "Astrology In Real Time", which is in it's final edit and slated for a 2008 release.

 I was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina.  My parents were farmers until I turned eight years old, at that time, they got out of farming and started other careers.  I remember that they and my older relatives planted by the Farmers' Almanac, which is a planting guide based upon horoscope signs and Moon phases.  Although, I didn't know it at the time, this was my foundation for becoming an astrologer.  Also, I remember in high school, some of my female friends would ask me my advice on their relationships. I was able to tell them things about their boyfriends or someone they were interested in. For instance, I could describe their boyfriends character and tell them their intentions or how they could attract the person they wanted. It worked!  I didn't know then that I was also working on my psychic abilities.  After high school I attended music school as a percussion major.  I formed groups after college, recorded, played for other recording artist, toured, wrote and produced music, which I still do.
 
My intention was to always be a musician. Life has a way of surprising you sometimes.  It was in college that I first heard about astrology.  Until then, signs were always used instead of the word astrology.  One day a music major friend of mine told me that he liked a certain girl on campus and he was going to use astrology to get her.  He bought a book on the subject and two weeks later they were arm and arm.  Did it work? 
 
Later that summer I was in my home town pharmacy and found myself at the book section.  I noticed a book called "How To Write Your Own Horoscope" by Jess Stearn, a newspaper man who had set out to disprove astrology but wound up being a proponent of the subject.  I read his description of my sign and I was hooked.  I continued my musical training and professional career, while absorbing every astrology book I could get my hands on.  In 1999, I made the switch to a full time astrologer.
